Adding to its resort timeshare management portfolio, The Alderwood Group is pleased to announce new resort partners The Iron Horse Resort in Winter Park, Colorado and Villas at Palm Springs in Palm Springs, California.
“We are focusing on what we do best,” says Tom Johnson, CEO and President of the california-based resort management group. “That is providing exceptional hospitality-based manager services to traditional vacation ownership resorts and clubs.” Johnson expects The Alderwood Group to grow by 18% in 2012 and basis this on the firm’s ability to balance excellent resort management and owner services with board of directors expectations and transient guest projections.
Iron Horse Resort (www.IronHorse-Resort.com) is a wholly-owned vacation resort with ski-in, ski-out access to Winter Park Resort. The Villas at Palm Springs is a small seasoned timeshare property located near historic downtown Palm Springs. “Both Villas and Iron Horse are great additions to our portfolio of resorts,” says Cheryl Shipe. “They both represent a natural progression in those regions [Colorado and Southern California] where we already have partnerships.”
The Alderwood Group continues to seek resort properties – wholly-owned and interval ownership – to its existing group, which consists of eleven properties in Colorado and Southern California.
